A quick question for those that have played this game:

I entered Harbor Town and Picked my way into the first locked room to the right of the entrance. I was promptly attacked by two guards and I dispatched them.

Will this have any adverse effects on the game (do I need either of them in the future)?

I would just like to continue and the farmer didn't seem to notice or mind.

If not I do have a save right before entering.

Thanks in advance.

If memory serves those guards are unnamed and don't play any role in any quests. However, you'll want to check if killing them flagged you for murder (talk to some other guards, some of the inquisition men, and some of the Don's men and see if any of them accuse you of murder), since if you get flagged as such then pretty much everyone in the faction that flagged you will try to kill you (in other words it's reload time).

I do not think I was flagged. I spoke to the first Don Man near the farmer - forget his name - without issue. I will see haw it goes with the white robes. Thanks.
