I have lux on the pc and it is awesome game.

I would love to play the same kind of game but with more options like by chance some territories rebel. Or if you dont have too much men in one area they will rebel.

Anyone know more risk games that give you options.

There are plenty of games like Risk that are more complex. The only question is how much more complex to you want them to be? At the ultra complex end of the spectrum is Europa Universalis. But there's plenty of middle ground between that and Risk.

Oh that game would be way too complicated for me. Kind of want a risk game but with a few more options to make it more thinking but nothing hard core. Would love for even the risk game to have a few options that certain territories are hostile so you need to leave a few more men there.

Well for starters there's Risk Factions. I don't know if you've played that one already, but you might like it.

Thanks but tried that game. Didnt like it. They just tried to make better graphics for risk. But gameplay stinks.

Two of the early Total Wars could fit the bill. The modern ones have a much more complicated strategic mode. You can skip the tactical battles with an automatic result of the battle.

I was thinking either Medieval: Total War or Shogun: Total War. It's been a while since I've played either, but they seem to fit the bill quite nicely.
