Wolfox: There are some pretty good Star Wars games, actually. The Jedi Knight series is pretty good, Empire at War is mostly good, and the Knights of the Old Republic series is excellent. And I won't even mention Tie Fighter (oh wait, I just did). ;-)

Also, as far as I know, George Lucas never made any games. He just licensed them.

True, Republic Commando is quite good. I also liked Battlefront 2.

StingingVelvet: As some might have mentioned the big one that stands out to me is the Final Fantasy series, specifically 7, 8 and 10 (which was the last I played).
Speaking of am I the only person who prefered number 8 to 7?

No, me too.

robobrien: Didn't the original Shadowrun rpg have a 'Bladerunner with orcs 'n elves vibe' to it?

JudasIscariot: Yes and I remember something about cybernetics and magic running around side by side and maybe even some weird combinations of the two...but I am not 100% sure. What ticked me off about MS was how they made their Shadowrun an MP game with nothing else going for it.

Would Geneforge's setting count as a sort of mesh between sci-fi and fantasy??
I think there was a penalty to magic if you had cybernetic implants and the like, but it's been a while. You can find a Sega emulator and the ROM for Shadowrun out there and play on PC for anyone interested. it was a fun game for sure.
