CD Projekt RED Group Summer Conference live (right here! We'll embed it below!) on the 30th May 2012 at 5:00 PM GMT.

We know that he who does not collect in summer, will heat little in winter and because we care for our users, you can prepare yourselves for wonderful harvest after the CD Projekt RED Group Summer Conference next Wednesday at 5:00 PM GMT. It is true that one swallow does not make a summer, that is why first you will hear some earth-shattering news from our friends from CDP RED and around 40 minutes later (that’s around 5.40 GMT!), TheEnigmaticT will tell you about GOG.com’s upcoming plans and release a number of fantastic games live at the show. We know that the summer that yields lots of pumpkins and horseradish doesn't fill the larder, that is why you can expect some old, some classic, and some brand new releases that will definitely heat up the first days of June.

Winter will ask you what you did during the summer, so make sure to tune in next wednesday May 30th at 5:00 PM GMT to watch us during the CD Projekt RED Group Summer Conference in this very newspost. Summer night is not very long but it rocks many cradles. You simply don’t want to miss it.

It may take a while for the video to buffer below, you but you can check out the stream here on Ustream if you missed it. http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/22959397 Our part starts about 30 minutes in. Thanks for watching!

We’re out of obscure Polish proverbs about Summer, but feel free to make up your own in the comments below. ;)

Tpiom: Less than one hour...
GMT is Greenwich time and the conference will start 5pm.

Wolfox: Actually, this would be the correct one:

You didn't need to be that condescending. Now you must be feeling pretty pathetic, right? :-)
Well, the only reason I used that url is because it's shorter than the regular Google one :p
oh no if its DST then it starts in another hour and thats my mandatory meeting :( NOOOoooOOOOOoooooo! someone please post a synopsis here or GOG! could you add it to your youtube pretty please?
GMT is a reference, not an actual timezone, and thus DST doesn't ever apply to it. C'mon, people, it isn't that hard!

(Though calling it UTC would probably be better...)

yyywww111: It's 5pm :O
It is not. Current UK time is BST (GMT+1). ;-)

,
Damn it, forgot about daylight savings, damn you BST!

granmacco: So much replies!! Maybe I shouldn't had post that.

But guys, are you taking in account that we are now in daylight saving time? I asked a friend of mine in London, and he assures that it's almost 5 o'clock there
Yes, and since the UK is at GMT +1 during daylight saving time, it's about 4 o'clock GMT.

GMT does not go into daylight saving time.

But anyway, I'm 80% sure now that you're just joking, since otherwise ... well. ;)

They have posted it later before. So no worries. You can see it as a video.
What the hell... Its after 5pm by me? I'm confused I didn't know BST started

London is technically running on BST now, not GMT. GMT is technically* equivalent to UTC, which does not observe daylight savings time.

*It's a little more complicated than that, but for the sake of this discussion, they can be considered equivalent.

News posts like this need a countdown timer...

Here's a short URL for a regular Google search:

Feel free to use it next time. ;-)
So it's still one hour until the conference? :-(

I wasn't joking, man. I thought that DST didn't modify your timezone. I thought that Britain is always GMT and Spain is always GMT +1, but I suppose I'm wrong, and Britain is right now GMT +1 and Spain is GMT +2.

Well, I won't make that mistake again. Who would have known, GOG taught me about how timezones actually work!

EDIT: Hey guys, if you refresh, now there is a flash player in the website saying it will begin soon. I suppose it will start in 45 minutes after all.
