So I have a spare Duke3D gift key that I was intending to give away but recent events have forced me to re-consider my stance on gifting. Should I giveaway Duke3D if so would you like to be the recipient?
If you're not going to use it for yourself and it's not going to do anything, why not.

Also i don't need it, I have Duke 3d already.

Not really something I want to share in public. Just in a bad mood right at the moment and there was some other stuff involving gifting happening at the same time.

Have you considered gifting it to someone you know personally? It may not boost your rep on the forums but at least you know who's receiving the gift. I also usually ask a few RL friends if I end up with a spare key before giving it away online.

That's OK. F4LL0UT post is good advice, in any case.

The stance of doing giveaways at all.

Nothing wrong with spreading happiness if you have something you are not going to use. If that isn't your kind of thing though then you can also trade it away for another game here

As long as the key is legit, then it is completely up to you. A key for a digital a digital game is non-physical object, so nothing is lost if it is not used.

That being said, I like to make riddles - in this case it is not a giveaway but a reward. I am more comfortable with this concept :)

Nahh, I like gifting way too much to participate in any kind of exchange. Because then I would be getting something in return. That is not the same.
Most member already own Duke3D because it was free at one point. Maybe it's better to make riddle or gift it to new member or better, just keep it for yourself. It might come in handy one day.

Some people can really be pushy when it come to free stuff, hope that won't put a damper on your gifting spirit. But this is just my assumption, just ignore it if it doesn't relate to your situation at all.
