Anyone else played Siege Of Avalon? I did a GOG discussion search and barely came up with anything. It was a satisfying and fun single player RPG for me. Any chance it will be on GOG?
I played it this year. Pretty good rpg story wise.
Wow! I have been trying to remember the name of this game for a long, long time. I played a demo of it when I was younger and always wanted to try out the full version.

At least I think this is the game I've been looking for... Are there some bad guys called the a-holes or something? I remember finding that hilarious when I was young (and I'll admit I still find it pretty funny today).
I have it in fact and while the writing and music are awesome, the gameplay is kinda weak, if I recall correctly. Sadly, this game seems to hate my relatively-old WinXP rig (the MAGENTA BACKGROUNDS bug if anyone knows how to tackle it) so while I tried to replay it earlier this year, I couldn't.
a-holes
Ahouls or something like that?

the group is called the Sha'Ahoul, and it is made up of human shaman and ahouls.

Also, yes the gameplay is rather weak. (hint if you max out stealth almost nothing in the game will react to you, at all, ever even if you walk right up and stab them.

I have the Original cd jewel case. Its no Baldur´s gate kind of fun game, but it is OK. A good game for GOG to publish.

There's "Siege of Avalon patch 1.3 (english, unofficial)" available at The Patches Scrolls (search siege of avalon). It's rather big weighting 221 MB. Anyone tried it?

There are problems with the mouse pointer disappearing and massive laggy cursor trails on character creation and some menu screens on the new install I made on Parallels Windows 7. Guess I'll have to go back to Bootcamp to play it if I want to. If GOG can fix these seemingly simple interface issues with modern graphics and OS - I would buy it immediately. Seeing how the part of the game, Chapter 1, is already open source and Anthology CD production has stopped, licensing shouldn't be a hassle.

I admit this is a really late reply for you, but, I really like Siege of Avalon and I had my screen doing the same thing as yours, at the time I was using a CRT monitor and had the refresh rate at like 85 or something, as soon as I turned the refresh rate down to 60 the Magenta was no more, also worked for Star Trek Armada too...Hope you go back and give it a try and my advice helps. :D
Tried to play it a while back....

Stupid Vista
Wow, I'd forgotten about this. I just went downstairs to find my Anthology set and reinstalled it, praying it would work on Vista. I set to Run as Admin and XP mode for each of these...

Config.exe
DTLoader.exe
DTMain.exe

That did the trick, and it works fine after 4+ hours so far. I never came close to finishing it the first time I played, but it sure has me sucked in now.

I could kiss you.

I can finally play this again.

Awesome + rep for you
I've played only the first chapter, because it was released as free game. It was quite fun, but I was like 12 years old so my English was too poor to play this comfortably.
