I despised the wraiths in the White Tower of Lands of Lore 1. It took such a long time to beat them, having to attack, flee to lower level, rest, and repeat for what seemed like an infinite number of times before they were finally dead.

I dislike enemies that respawn in any game. You've cleared an area and you're just looking around or exploring and they start coming back. Especially dungeons, when you've meticulously have gone thru every room and area. On your way out, here they come at you again.

I don't like rats in RPGs. But I don't "hate" enemies in games. Hate is a very strong word for a RPG enemy! :)

Enemy..I have to think about it. Right now only these flying things in Morrowind come to mind.

Baldur's Gate, that very first midget enemy with a dagger in the starting town you grew up in. He cause my (then spell less) Mage much grief.

Kangaxx when soloing, the "Imprisonment" spell can be annoying if not prepared for it :D

Worst villain: Final Fantasy VII's main antagonist Sephiroth, for sentimental reasons...what else? :D

Thanks for the chance for Darklands, Sinistar. I've just heard about the game and become interested especially because of its historical medieval Germany setting.

Lots of good posts, and it's a hoot seeing how roundly hated the Cliff Racers are. They were the bane of my girlfriend's Morrowind campaigning back in the day, and for that matter still are, unless you use one of the mods that banishes them.

I'm going to wrap this up a little sooner than the Atari promotion end, as I realised that it would suck for folks to wait and see if they won this, and then when the didn't not have a final chance to buy it cheap. So look for the prize drawing in another hour or so from this posting.
