I'm dead....however the greatest extras you can get are the cutout Carmageddon cars. The problem is they only come with Carmageddon. They should be available with every game.

You know, that sounds nice. Maybe a digital color book too.

ps. forgot to mention thanks for the ga IAmSinistar.
I don't live ! But thank you Sinistar ! :-D

You've a very good question ! I don't know what extra I like the most, in fact I don't really like it (I don't download any extras in general) but I LOVE get it ! For example, I bought Portal 2 Final Hours on Steam. I launch it one time, to check the design, and I didn't restart it again. But I'm very happy to get it !
Same thing with my old passion (majority gone), mangas. I bought the data book about Death Note. For me it's one of the most important piece of my collection. But I never opened it LOL
Not in but +1 for a wonderful giveaway. I love the behind the scenes making of stuff for video games as I am always interested in the creative process. :)
Thanks for the giveaway, but just like tinyE, I'm dead too. Unlike tinyE, I consider the manuals the most important extra to a game. I know Thespian* mentioned how they are mandatory parts of a game, but we see how developers treat them nowadays.

dr.schliemann: Thank you Sinistar.

I live! But, please, count me in for BillyMaysFan59.

As for the extras, the most interesting ones for me are manuals and wallpapers or even art in general.
Thanks

Thanks, IAmSinistar! +1

I Live!

Hmm, from the list, I think I prefer having manuals the best.
I live!

My favorite extras are definitely the soundtracks. You can always hear them whenever you feel like playing the game, but can't due to other stuff. Risk of Rain is a great example for this: Exceptional soundtrack in my opinion!

Thanks for your generosity, Sinistar! Live long and prosper ;)
I live!

Since I have a lot of classic RPGs on my shelf, the extra I like most is maps. I love taking notes for games, but I'm lazy/not very good at mapping, so I appreciate getting some nice-looking maps with my purchase. Quick reference cards are nice, too.
Thank you for the giveaway IAmSinistar +1! And "I Live!"

For the extras, the ones I most like to see are soundtracks only slightly more so than manuals though. Regardless of how good in game tutorials may or may not be, I like to have a manual to refer to or read through just for the background information when available. Soundtracks are just all around fun to have, since many of them are equally good to listen to while working and while playing.
i live
i manly buy games here because you get the music as extra, which i like a lot
thanks sinistar
I live!

I like soundtracks, especially high quality flacs. Hard to get those without ripping the game files.
"I Live!"

I'd like to see avatars one can use for extras and a soundtrack.
I live! ... just kidding, I don't. Braaaaainsss~

Er, anyway, the game looks interesting. I enjoy rogue-likes as well as platformer games, so it could be a fun combo. Does anyone know if this game has permanent unlockables, similar to Rogue Legacy?

As for extras, personally I enjoy seeing concept art, design sketches and such, being an artist myself. Other than that, I think wallpapers and avatars should be standard extras for every game. Free soundtracks are also great, when available. Beyond that, I'm not sure what GOG or the developer could add to their games. Some walkthrough or hint files would be convenient, so people don't have to search the web when they get stuck.

Overall I'm disappointed with the lack of decent extras for many Indie titles on here. Many of the basic extras I mentioned would take ( almost ) no additional effort at all. I suspect the developers and/or publishers are to blame for this, not GOG. Maybe they're not used to this whole "extras" business, since Steam doesn't seem to bother with it.
