I've been up for ah... 56 hours straight now I think, and I was just heading to bed when GOG decided to post the most amazing and spectacular news (they listened!), and now I am positively giddy. So, let's have a giveaway! Prizes are... let's see here, let's go with Etherlords 1, Etherlords 2, Enclave, and Dungeon Keeper 1. Sounds like a plan. Rules are, crap, I generally make rules in advance. Uhm, for Etherlords 1 post your favorite mythological monster, for Etherlords 2 post your favorite superhero or villain, for Enclave post your favorite historical or modern weapon, and for Dungeon Keeper post what you would name your Dungeon. Right, that will work! Anyone can enter, you can enter for multiple prizes, I'll let this run for probably 2 days or until I feel like it. Feel free to enter for someone else if you want to.
Breaking News: An incredible anonymous donor has decided to contribute a copy of Harvester on GOG! To enter, simply post a word in any language that translates to something violent: slaughter, murder, blood, etc.
Prizes:
Etherlords 1 - Post your favorite mythological monster
Etherlords 2 - Post your favorite superhero or villain
Enclave - Post you favorite historical or modern weapon
Dungeon Keeper 1 - Name your dungeon
Harvester - Post a word in a foreign language that translates to something violent (slaughter, murder, blood, etc.)
FAQ
Prizes are GOG games on individual gift-codes.
Anyone can enter. No rep limits, no time on GOG limits.
You can enter for someone else.
You can enter for multiple games.
Giveaway will run for 48 hours or until I feel like calling it.
Right, I think that covers everything. If you do not like the announcement, that is your opinion and I completely respect that. Personally, I think it's great and I feel great, so I'm going to spread some happiness! Wooo! \o/
==================
THE RESULTS ARE IN
This was actually harder to rank than the dead poet giveaway! All of these were fantastic entries. Nevertheless, there can be only one! Well, actually five, one for each, but the point stands. Decisions must be made. So here we go!
[Reticulating splines….compiling…regurgitating results]
Annnnd the results are in! (Eeeeew)
Etherlords 1 goes to Treasure with the classic eagle-lion of terror, may the cards favor you.
Etherlords 2 goes to Nightblair for making me google the phrase "Thrusts of Justice." That's going to be on my permanent Google record now. :P
Enclave the only game I've seen where two knights in full armour will leap 10 feet in the air and slam into each other (it's hilarious) goes to ElPrimordial with the insane murder stone.
Dungeon Keeper 1 goes to Starmaker with the Crucible of the Underworld. Dungeon or amazing fondue restaurant, who knows? It could be both!
And lastly, the one, the only, the much coveted Harvester goes toooo….. Momo1991! The Qaatil defenestrated his victim through the carnicería's window; in an exceedingly linguistically confused (and grammatically incorrect) sentence. :P
Be sure to torment IAmSinistar over at: Sinistar gifts - rooting for GOG for more crazy gifting extravaganzas!
Thank you all, this was an absolute blast to read.
