I've been up for ah... 56 hours straight now I think, and I was just heading to bed when GOG decided to post the most amazing and spectacular news (they listened!), and now I am positively giddy. So, let's have a giveaway! Prizes are... let's see here, let's go with Etherlords 1, Etherlords 2, Enclave, and Dungeon Keeper 1. Sounds like a plan. Rules are, crap, I generally make rules in advance. Uhm, for Etherlords 1 post your favorite mythological monster, for Etherlords 2 post your favorite superhero or villain, for Enclave post your favorite historical or modern weapon, and for Dungeon Keeper post what you would name your Dungeon. Right, that will work! Anyone can enter, you can enter for multiple prizes, I'll let this run for probably 2 days or until I feel like it. Feel free to enter for someone else if you want to.

Breaking News: An incredible anonymous donor has decided to contribute a copy of Harvester on GOG! To enter, simply post a word in any language that translates to something violent: slaughter, murder, blood, etc.

Prizes:
Etherlords 1 - Post your favorite mythological monster
Etherlords 2 - Post your favorite superhero or villain
Enclave - Post you favorite historical or modern weapon
Dungeon Keeper 1 - Name your dungeon
Harvester - Post a word in a foreign language that translates to something violent (slaughter, murder, blood, etc.)

==================

THE RESULTS ARE IN

This was actually harder to rank than the dead poet giveaway! All of these were fantastic entries. Nevertheless, there can be only one! Well, actually five, one for each, but the point stands. Decisions must be made. So here we go!

[Reticulating splines….compiling…regurgitating results]

Annnnd the results are in! (Eeeeew)

Etherlords 1 goes to Treasure with the classic eagle-lion of terror, may the cards favor you.
Etherlords 2 goes to Nightblair for making me google the phrase "Thrusts of Justice." That's going to be on my permanent Google record now. :P
Enclave the only game I've seen where two knights in full armour will leap 10 feet in the air and slam into each other (it's hilarious) goes to ElPrimordial with the insane murder stone.
Dungeon Keeper 1 goes to Starmaker with the Crucible of the Underworld. Dungeon or amazing fondue restaurant, who knows? It could be both!

And lastly, the one, the only, the much coveted Harvester goes toooo….. Momo1991! The Qaatil defenestrated his victim through the carnicería's window; in an exceedingly linguistically confused (and grammatically incorrect) sentence. :P

Be sure to torment IAmSinistar over at: Sinistar gifts - rooting for GOG for more crazy gifting extravaganzas!

Thank you all, this was an absolute blast to read.

Thanks for your generous giveaway. Now get some ZZZZ

I'm in for Enclave please. My favourite weapon is the Trebuchet. The size and power of thing. Simple physics and made of wood !!

Thanks for your generosity, both Melhelix and the anonymous donor!

Please, count me in for:

- Harvester (but if I win, please send it to Momo1991)
- or Enclave (for myself)

(in that particular order) ;)

For Harvester, the Spanish word "carnicería" would be the equivalent of slaughter, though is also used to refer to a butcher shop. ;)

For Enclave, my favorite weapon would be the English longbow, also called the Welsh longbow.

From Wikipedia: "The longbow was the machine gun of the Middle Ages: accurate, deadly, possessed of a long range and rapid rate of fire, the flight of its missiles was likened to a storm."

Indeed, I remember I did read that, until the invention of the machine gun itself, no gun achieved the firing rate of a longbow (if longbows were abandoned it was because they were difficult to master, compared to crossbows and the later musketts and other gunpowder based small arms).

Great giveaway! I'd like to be in for Thespian*, please. My answers are:

The Worm Ouroborous, Shade The Changing Man, ballista/scorpion, and The Oubliette By The Seashore - a bed (of nails) and breakfast place. :)

And for the gruesome word, I've always found abattoir to sound euphoniously apt.

Hmm... In that case, what the hell. I'm in for Harvester .

Ucis - means "killed" or "murdered" in Romanian .
Thanks for giveaway!

I'm in for:
Etherlords 1 - Post your favorite mythological monster - Hydra, I battle one in my work every day [in a programmers job]
Etherlords 2 - Post your favorite superhero or villain - the Jelly-man from Thrusts of Justice!
I'm in for Etherlords 1.

My favorite mythological monster would have to be the minotaur. I liked how they performed in age of mythology.

Thank you for give away :)
Thanks for this! The announcement was definitely great!

I'd love to join for Etherlords 1.

My favourite mythological monster is the Sphinx, you simply can't resist a hybrid beast that challenges you with riddles - and the couple in the Neverending Story is an awesome, modern extension of the myth.
Ahhh, hard to choose between favourites.
My favourite mythological creature would be the "Dragon" and my favourite superheroine would be "Spider Woman"

I love the minotaur since I watched "Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger".

In for Enclave,

Favorite weapon is this http://www.heavenlyswords.com/images/P/23%20350.jpg, seen someone with a (fake) tattoo like that and if i ever did a tattoo it would be this too. And it's Raphael's weapon from the ninja turtles.

Thanks.
