...my yellow belt in Taekwondo today, and went to a great after party with my fellow practitioners afterward.

I had a few drinks and the first person to post anything here will receive a 5.99 game of their choice. If I don't reply tonight I will tomorrow.

Also Taekwondo is coming up as spelled incorrectly and the first recommendation it gives is Wonderbra.
Do I win?

I think I do.

Fallout is a $5.99 GOG, right?

Sweet, and your welcome.
Congrats on the belt (even though I'm too late to get a prize, haha)! I have a couple friends in college who do Taekwondo and a good friend from when I was younger who was/is a black belt.
Great accomplishment there! Did that mean like a judged tournament style of thing?

Thanks guys.

Yeah, we had to perform in front of a panel of judges, not really a tournament but it was still pretty cool, a little nerve wracking but cool.

You meet a lot of great people. oh and kick ass.
Congrats on your belt! I'm a yellow belt of karate and I see the way to obtain your belt varies greatly. In my dojo, we have to perform in group, like in a regular training session, but in front of the area headmaster of the karate style the dojo belongs to.

That was basically how it went except it was a couple of different black belts from a couple of schools.

We had to do our forms, line drills and sparring. Then there was breaking boards though the white belts didn't get to do it, but the next rank I get to axe kick a board in half.

I think the difference is the fact that the black belts who teach us are students at the university, so their masters come to make sure we are doing things correctly, also a 4th degree has to be present in order to promote people, I believe.

It's great because it is free save for equipment. My Dobok (or gi in karatedo) cost like 15 bucks, and sparring gear was only 150, which sounds expensive until you check the prices online.
You're just like me, except for the drink! I dont like drinking, he..he..!
I was always told - "it's just further to fall".

Still, well done, hopefully one of many more.

I rarely drink, but if I want to be able to socialize I kind of need it. Plus whiskey sours are delicious.
