That should work out fine, with 500GB you will be sure you have alot of storage aswell, for all of your programs and games!

OCZ are having to try to rebuild their reputation, much of the negativity regarding them is from the past. I've had a Vertex 4 for over a year now & it's been solid thus far.

I hear the Vector is good too but overall since OCZ bought out Indilinx & started developing an in-house controller they've had more positive than negative from what I've seen but then I've also not been keeping up with SSD news.

I've been using mine (Samsung 830) for a year now with no problems. Don't forget to check for any firmware updates.
