A mod has said that it appears to be hacked so stay off it till Valve gets in (about 50 min from now). To be safe, if you were to visit the forums, wait 1-2 hours before you do to play it safe.

GOG forums were hacked too! I recall some people making new topics with special characters and shit that broke the forum! Damn that was scary.
