That is a good question, I was just going by what valve posted on their new page earlier on: "Gamers will have a final opportunity to get their favorite games on Steam. A select number of the most sought-after titles from the Steam Holiday Sale will reprise their biggest discounts for two additional days. The Encore Weekend begins at 10am PST on January 5th (Saturday) and run until 10am PST on January 7th (Monday).

There will definitely be some great repeat deals. But if the deal you really want doesn't show up, just wait until the summer sale and play some of your backlog until then (because you do have a backlog, right?) Games you want will always eventually show up on sale again.

Flash and community choices seem to end today, I imagine all the "normal" deals will as well, there'll just be a group of selected games back on discount probably.

For some reason i found this xmas sales disapointing compared to last years which seemed to have a lot more to it. Also the fact they had big sales prior to this has dulled it.

On saying that i did manage o pick up sacred 2 gold which works on my macchine at last and Farcry 3 which is really cool.

I do have a backlog, and so does my friend (I certainly gifted him Deus Ex, at least). but due to circumstances, it seems he must have retribution now. So maybe I miss out on the better deal, but it's still better than not getting it at all.

Assuming the weekend will literally just be a recap of the best deal with no dailies etc it looks like I finally wrapped up my purchases this year.

Just picked up Crysis because I feel perhaps a little guilty buying an up-to-date PC and seemingly only playing stuff that could run on a calculator in comparison.

Things that have happened so far:

I picked up and threw a turtle.

I was attacked by a man emerging from an outhouse toilet.

Upon dying, I made an 'Uh-huh-huh' Elvis-alike sound.

I liiike this game.

And the encore sales has begun. Once again I'm somewhat tempted to get Darksiders 2 Franchise Pack, but I'm not that fond of Darksiders 1... And I'm disappointed that the DoW franchise didn't make it, I got a tad bit more spending money and had plans to get it. Maybe it'll show up tomorrow, maybe it won't.

Also... Sleeping Dogs for 91% off? wut

I think the deals will change at around this time tomorrow, stuff that isn't there now will probably show for a final 24 hours.

I am hoping that they put the Tom Clancy franchise back up, need the 2 DLC's for Ghost Recon (Desert Siege and Island Thunder) and Rainbow Six Lockdown (Just to complete the R6 set even though it is poor in comparison to R6 3 and Vegas)

That's a good deal. Probably a bug though. Any of the DLC worth getting with the game?

Wondering this myself. As awesome as a 91% bug may be, I wasn't just about to grab the DLC package and see if there was anything worth. And too lazy to check one by one before getting it. So, meh.
