foerderband: But as we all know the current steam design is already a couple of years old. It will be interesting to see if and when they overhaul it.
bazilisek: The last major UI update of Steam was in April 2010, that's not that far away. I don't really have any major gripe with the current design, except for the stupid insistence on putting their icon in the notification area even on W7.
There are some changes I would like to see too.
First, if you look at the store page it really seems that it is optimised for quite small screens to the left and to the right there is nothing just blank space. would be great if the client would fit the store to your resolution. Maybe the additional space would give them some more options regarding design possibilities.
Second, the design is quite dark. I understand that many people like this - but I'd prefer if there was at least an option to have a version which is maybe a bit brighter
My third and last suggestion would be on the technical side of things. I would very much enjoy if the client would have an increased performance -> run a little faster
also to get a bit back on topic: is anyone of you guys already in the beta?
