They have some strange rules, like "no betas, no keys for other store", but developers are allowed to submit even not yet greenlit....
About 3-4 months ago I created giveaways for 4 GamersGate games; had no problem. Don't know why it happened now. Maybe someone reported the giveaways, not sure.

Sorry to hear about the ban...I guess someone reported the giveaways as being non-Steam. They have weird rules it seems like you said.

I think if you talk to the mods beforehand before creating the giveaway, they might allow it. They seem to want to "bless" it first. They are pretty strict with their rules, but sometimes they break them on their own for whatever reason.

Their rules don't make any sense. They allow Battlefield 3 and Minecraft because they are not available on Steam to begin with. Mass Effect 3 is not on Steam either, they don't allow it or the remaining 1000s of games that are not on Steam.
And I am doing a group giveaway; they allow weird rules for group giveaways.

Their support is funny; I can never get a reasonable answer from them.
