Thank you for that, but how would that work out? I thought that prizes have to be Steam-redeemable and that SteamGifts moderators sometimes check that a prize was redeemed.

I can't find anything in the rules regarding it and, if I think about it, they allow bundle gift URLs regardless of whether the person actually redeems the Steam keys...

Just some random thoughts out loud...

EDIT: "how" not "who"...

While all that is true, they tend to be a lot more forgiving of private or group giveaways, while they are fairly draconian about public giveaways...

This is not the first time I've seen GG games on there...
Thanks for Morrowind. I always miss you or forget to thank you on Steam.

OK, thanks for clarifying.

+1 to Cleidophoros, too. (Forgot to mention that in the other post).

I'm sure you are one of the few whom exception could be made for. (damn, I sure complicated that sentence; I hope its correct)

This was my first thought.
Then again, it would set a dangerous precedent with everyone arguing for an exception.....

Thank you both for the kind thoughts - I would not expect to be treated differently, and would like to meet the criteria please - and it gives me something to look forward to :)

In that case, we might be able to amend how the calendars work and squeeze a few millenia between today and September 4th. ;) (or just delete September 4th until year 3000)

Minimum amount of games you must have gifted to be able to enter the giveaway.

How would it work? I will send you the game through Gamersgate, you download and play. Simple as that.
Steamgifts allows Minecraft and BF3 to be gifted; they are not Steam redeemable. I don't see why they are special.
As long as no one complains about a GG giveaway I don't think they will do anything. I take responsibility (giveaway clearly says that the games are from GG) in case they check the winner's profile for the game but again; they won't unless someone complains. There are about a million users at the site; they can't just go and check the prizes even if they wanted to.
