Earlier today, I bought Deus Ex: The Fall on Steam because I was kinda interested, and also for the free copy of Deus Ex GOTY so I could pass it on to a friend. 20 minutes later, I remembered I still had a gift code here for Deus Ex GOTY that I bought back in September and never did anything with. >_<
I still feel bad about buying Lucius- the only game I can't imagine playing ever again; at least with other games I am excited to play them at some point. Effing Lucius.
This.

Buying games on sale only to have them show up in a bundle a week or two later...:-(

I'm glad I bought it... but it was cheap and I like collecting crappy games :)
I regret nothing.

No, but seriously, that's actually how my brain works.
Signal Ops.
It's not really a bad game, it's just... I bought it during a panic attack on launch day without looking at any screenshots, or even seeing what the genre was.
Again, not bad, but not really my type of game.
I have an original Xbox sitting in my apartment, bought after the generation was finished on the theory that "It's cheap, and I can play the exclusives that I missed the first time around." The only games I ever played on it were Jade Empire and Morrowind, both of which I now own on PC..

Not Crimson Skies? Mechassault? Halo? Project Gotham? Forza? You can probably get all of those combined for about $10. Loads of fun left in that console.

That reminds me...
I bought a PS2 and Memory Card just so I could play 24: The Game.
Stupid and unneeded? Absolutely. But no regrets!

BoxOfSnoo's right, you're missing out.
Try Phantom Dust.
9/10 of the bundles I buy. Not necessarily because they're bad deals, but because I have much better games waiting in my backlog for me to play.
I bought a copy of two of the "creatures" packs earlier this week. on a Tuesday
and then now, three days later they're on sale.
feels like someone is having a laugh at my expanse - or perhaps spitting in my face.
.oh well, they weren't that expensive I guess... but still... 70% off.
makes one wonder if there is a way to see what comes on sale in the future.
Buying two overlapping Medal of Honor retail compilations one after another (I don't think there were many weeks or at least months between buying them):

http://www.mobygames.com/game/medal-of-honor-10th-anniversary

http://www.mobygames.com/game/medal-of-honor-allied-assault-war-chest

The reason was that for some reason I incorrectly remembered that the earlier compilation I had was a Call of Duty compilation, not Medal of Honor. Oh well, I guess it doesn't really matter, as I've yet to even tear the shrinkwrap from either game.

Then again, mistakes like these are much easier now when digital download bundles. You don't always remember what you've bought from some other site already.

The only regret I can think of is RPG Maker 2 on the PS2. It has a locked combat system style that I dislike and seems to be limited to random encounters. But it looked tempting at the time. :P
