For Apple II and Atari ST owners (and newfags like me who use emulators) who have played Sundog before, you may be excited to know that Bruce Webster has decided to go ahead and work on Sundog Resurrection. A playable alpha should be coming out this month. It's aimed at Android and PC users.

Hell yeah!

Really? Nobody's played Sundog?
w00t? Where's the kickstarter?

Sundog is one of the few games I always heared how great they are / have been, without actually managing to get my hands on.
Looking forward to change that for this case and would support it within a heartbeat, but ..... one can't?

No. Haven't played it. Was on Amiga. It's the only game ever that was making me jealous of Atari owners.

Good point. I'll drop the S:R team an email and ask if they have any intentions to Kickstart the game.

Looks like they're making "some traction" as they're now in the pre-alpha phase. I remember playing this on the Atari ST. Great game.

You're such a hipster. When are you just going to get an iMac and we can hang out again on Mac Steam like we used to. ;-)

Yarrr - but t'was a pirated copy! (Apple II - yes, I'm an old fart...)

One thing I enjoyed about that game was the pirates' dialogue if you refused to jettison cargo - "OK, dirt man you asked for it!"). The multi-level gameplay (fly through space, drive across planets, walk around towns) was innovative along with the ship component system.

On the other hand, trying to target ships was a real pain unless you had the AutoSlew fitted. And the ending was a real anti-climax.

So thanks for the pointer, and sorry for missing this earlier.
