I just watched the following video review of Sword & Sworcery, which made me really want to try it out.

I'm wondering if anyone has played it and can give any feedback on it.

It looks quite interesting, and the style and tone sounds very cool. And it is really pretty cheap on Steam (I wish it was on GOG, that would be great!). So I'll probably get it anyway, but I'm just wondering if anyone has thoughts on it.

(Also, the game's website is cute: http://www.swordandsworcery.com/)
I have it on my ipod and i think it's a great adventure game, but a little hard to get into
Thanks for the information.

Any specific reason it is difficult to get into? Slow uptake of the plot or steep learning curve?
I have it on the PC, and the control method used takes a bit getting used to. So much so that simply actions can be annoying to complete. I kept failing on particular part (won't mention which due to possible spoilers) simply because the controls would consistently fail to do what I wanted.

Hmm... good to know. Yeah the video on gamspot looked like it would work with a touchscreen much better than a mouse (I guess that is why they originally made it for those platforms that have a touchscreen) - pitfalls of not owning a modern phone/ipad I guess.
I quite like it, some nice music along with things, really sets the mood.
Only problem is I can't finish it for however long because I don't want to know the shame of being a cheaty cheater. There's a way to move things along in game faster than this that doesn't count as cheating, but that way has been locked to me.

Well there are some moments where your asking "what do I do next" but once you do find out, you can sit there and have a lot of fun with it
