I haven't finished 2 yet! Too many good games coming out lately.
Yeah, got the email about it as well.
Hopefully Ep. 3 will be a bit longer and more difficult than Ep. 2 which I found frustratingly short ( or maybe its just due to my awesome adventure game solution skills finally kicking in again )

That's "episodic games" for you, short instances that together make a full game.
They've been awesome so far though (haven't finished 3 yet).

I know they're episodic so Im not expecting like 10 hours of content from an episode. Im just saying I found Ep 2 way shorter and easier than Ep 1, but I can't quantify my statement as I didn't actually time how long each episode took or have an average of what users used on each puzzle, but it certainly felt as though Ep 2 barely even started before it was over whereas Ep 1 actually felt like it had some craftier puzzles and longevety - again, I point to my previous statement about quantifying this.
I haven't finished Ep1 yet. Farking time squeeze.
Argh. Curse preorders! I'm still on the second one....

Personally I think 10 hours would be a good length for an episode, but then I like longer games - like the Baldur's Gate series (over 100 hours in a single game? adding 50 or more in an expansion? yes please... come to think of it, this might be one reason why I play WoW). I don't have a time estimate or the ToMI games either, but I'm not entirely sure I agree with you in that the second was shorter than the first. The extra treasure hunt isn't part of the actual game, but could be seen as added value and length to that one.
I want to play this game sooo bad...but I'm waiting for all five episodes to be released. Because when I start playing, I don't want to have to wait for the rest of the game to be released. I like to start a game, and finish it fast, in as few sessions as possible, making sure to neglect food and sleep in the process. (What can I say? I'm hardcore) So, I'll continue to avoid spoiler topics, drool over the screenshots, and wait....

I see your point, but I like the episodic thing. I've always got other games to play, so it's not that big of a deal. I also like the way it feels like I've somehow bought five games. I even forget about them and then when I get the e-mail, I'm like, "Hell yeah, cool".
