I'm not sure that GOG even has a right to grant commercial-use or educational licences.

I would guess that GOG's licensing rights to the games on this site are limited to personal licences, which means that they in turn are not permitted to grant sub-licences to commercial entities.

You'd probably have to go to the respective rights holders for a commercial or educational licence.

I got an answer from the gog support.

As GOG does not own the rights, they can't sell global licences for public places... too bad.

No solution, at the moment, for legal digitals video games in hospitals.

Maybe there is something to improve here ...

Last time I was in the hospital I was hooked to up to so much crap (and for 5 days) that I think the addition of a laptop would have shorted out the building, electrocuted me, or both. :D

Though I'd prefer not to promote competitors, the fact that GOG does not offer any services in this area prompts me to at least mention Valve's Cybercafe Program which might be of interest.

Interesting that a hospital would allow a patient (or visiting friends/family) to install stuff on their computers at all.
