441635: Thanks a lot Jarmo. Does anyone know whether this genre of game has ever been used for a Dungeons and Dragons setting? I ask because the combination of the two could be fantastic (being quite close to a real PnP RPG).
I used to play ShadowGate MUD the year stone and stick. At the time it was pretty roleplay intensive and the rules were quite AD&D's.
Certainly there are others, but if D&D is what interests you, ShadowGate might be worth a shot if its still anything like it used to be.
-Proper- roleplaying MUD's were rather hard to come by, ShadowGate was rare in that it actually had a decent amount of active players as well. But like I mentioned, I havent been it the scene for ages, so I am not up to the current situation.
