I just wanted to say thanks to GOG for drawing my name in the lottery that was held a week or so ago. I won a free GOG game. Thank you so very much!!!!
Now, the only problem is... which game??? I only own a dozen or so games on here, and there are quite a few that are available on my premium subscription to GameTap. So, I could use some help. I like all types of games and most I have never played before. Which gog game would you choose?
Thanks!
What kind of games do you like?
Fallout or Arcanum for RPG.
Blood or Duke Nukem 3D for FPS.
Beyond good and evil for arcade.
The Longest Journey for adventure.
Outcast for ... Epicness, I guess
Those are GoGs that have probably swallowed most of my precious time.
Congrats, man!
If you let us know what games you already have and what kinds of games you like, we could help you pick something.
Master of Magic.
It still haven't sunk in that I finally can play it again after all these years.
For a dose of surreal, take the Sanitarium. If you want a non-mainstream FRP, Gothic or Divine Divinity is for you. If you're a turn base addict, Heroes3, Jagged Alliance (2) or Fallout can be of your choosing. If you're psycho, take Psychonauts.
A few suggestions. If you don't choose quickly, prepare to get flooded by the whole catalogue.

Indeed, too many good games around. You know, you can just summarize which game was mentioned the most times and buy that :D

I've seriously considered this one. I've read it is like Civ w/ Magic.

I've heard it's a mix of Civilization and Magic the Gathering. So there's lots of magic in it. Haven't played Magic the Gathering so I can't say.
I can't praise it enough. That and Alpha Centauri still is the best 4x games I've played with Space Empires 4 Deluxe as a close second.

Thanks. I'm stoked (never win anything, ya know :) ). Well, on GOG, I have Longest Journey, Septerra Core, Pro Pinball (Timeshock, Big Race, Fantastic Journey), Dark Star One, Arcanum, Vampire Redemption, Beneath a Steel Sky, Tex Murphy Mean Streets, Teen Agent, Lure of the Temptress, Sanitarium, & Stonekeep.
Games I've considered are: Advent Rising, Master of Magic, Another World (Wasn't this called Out of this World?!), The Creature series, Sacred Gold, but I am up for anything. Most of these games I missed playing for some reason, so they are all "new" to me. Want something that still remains a memorable gaming experience. I've been gaming since the Atari 2600 days, so not sure why I never played many of these games.

I thought about Outcast and even watched a few videos on it. I never even heard of this game. The dude that did the videos says its awesome.

Doh! Why isn't AC in GOG. I bought a copy of that game about 12 years ago, but never had a chance to play it :(.

Good suggestions! Divine Divinity was on my radar... and the only one not already on gametap ;).

If you like old-old-school RPGs, the Might & Magic collection is one of the best deals on the entire site.
I'll recommend Sacrifice and Giants: Citizen Kabuto any day of the week. Also Psychonauts.
