They are running a great photo series on the great conflict of the last generation. These photos contain so many different situations of war from the horrors or loosing a relative, the tense expressions of soldiers on the front, the nervousness of civilians that are running drills, and the excitement of soldiers who are on the winning side.
I have really enjoyed this series so far (there are two parts out of the twenty planned). It makes the history behind WWII a bit more human and much more interesting.
