Pemptus: The first game was good fun for the most part, but the English voice acting left quite a bit to be desired, especially the gnomish wannabe wizard one. I really hope they fix that somehow.
What was wrong about the voice acting in your opinion? All the voice actors are brilliant british actors and the studio has recorded the voices for dozens of popular video games.
The voice actor of Wilbur is Welsh, maybe that's why it sounded strange to you. It's an accent you don't often hear in video games or movies. That's what makes it special though.

It felt very wooden. Like the guy was just reading his lines from a sheet, not actually acting.
I can take a Welsh accent, so that's not it. :)
Today's update is pretty interesting: it's a list of what each person on the team is doing today. A neat slice-of-life in video game development.

There are also still a few days to apply for their behind-the-scenes video blogger position. It sounds like a great opportunity for somebody interested in gaming journalism. Not something I could ever do (I have zero presence in front of a camera) but I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

And lastly, there are four days left to back the Kickstarter (or donate through Paypal on their website).

This ends your BoUT2 news flash. Back to your regularly scheduled forum-browsing program. ;)

Yeah that was a cool update. Now we're really in the home stretch, with time counter ticking down in hours... 48-hr reminders for those who "starred" the project will go out tonight.
