This time, I have a new tool, we're looking at roughly 7 entrants, and I've signed myself in as "Hayes". One other from my school, two with ratings, if you focus on the Epee pool.

Now, with that, new knowledge as well. You might recall, I've rolled my ankle and injured myself around the last two tournaments. So, what's the disadvantage? There's two weeks till the tournament. I might still roll my ankle. But I've also learned recently that my left knee is Arthritic. The pain keeps me from practicing very much. Advantage? I've got a brand new sword, $100, stiff blade, and very good for my defense game. So, have at it people! I'll hand out the prizes February 10th along with stories and videos for anyone who's interested.

Many thanks! I was honestly hoping I'd get a couple extra weeks to recover or something but even if I break my leg tomorrow I'm fairly set on fighting. Also good, I've got family visiting for this tourney. My father isn't sure he'll be able to make it, but right now I'm looking at my Mother, Brother, his wife, Half-Brother, his wife, and my aunt. My uncle-in-law is currently on the maybe-list because his grandson took up wrestling.

Right handed. So my back leg is the injured one, and that's the one I used to lead my retreats and the one to put the effort into a long lunge.

I hope I don't seem like an asshole for that! The only reason I didn't predict much better results for you is because of your knee pain and how it has been preventing you from practicing. But again, I hope you win the whole damn tournament. I am glad that you will post details on how everything goes instead of just the results. Looking forward to reading the details.

Updated on February 6 based on what I have read in the links you provided in the original post. My original guess in my original post on January 27 was "placement from last: 2, and elimination matches won: 0." But now I have updated my guess to be "placement from last: 6, and elimination matches won: 0." Again, though, I hope you win the entire tournament.
