I'm thinking of buying a game from the current weekend promo but I'm not very sure which one I should choose. I can only buy one game, so I should choose the game wisely. Maybe here on GOG forum there are a lot of other users that have the same problem: How can one only choose 1 or 2 games in this great promo? This thread in a way is created to help the users like me choose "the game" of the GOG's weekend promo so that one can make a good decision. Everyone recommends a game, and the highest mention will become "the game" of the weekend. The game will be announced 12 hours before the promo ends so that users who follow this thread can easily buy the game.

Accatone, I'm a bit confused. Are you looking for suggestions on what to buy for yourself or are you just looking for what everyone thinks is the best game? If for yourself, what games are you interested in out of this promo?

This may be the time I finally buy Anachronox.

I appreciate the idea of the thread, but I don't think it's really a one-size-fits-all problem; people's preferences often vary wildly. Narrowing weekly promos down to a single game is selling the rest of the games short.

Perhaps a better idea is to get someone familiar with most of the games to write a rundown of everything in the promo - which games are good/bad, which games to get from a particular franchise, which games are particularly good value etc...

I'm thinking something like the SaleBox videos that TotalBiscuit occasionally does. Example.

I'm looking for suggestions not only for myself but also for the other users who can only buy 1 or 2 games from the promo. Yes, of course everyone has his own preferences but when I created this thread I was thinking of a recommendation that can make me think about the game I'll buy. It may not be my favorite genre, style, whatever but at least it would give me a solid idea. What if I'm missing a great game that I would otherwise not play under different conditions (if there was no discount)?
