Colin McRae Rally 3.
I'm not kidding.

Michagogi23: you DO realize beneath a steel sky is a FREE game here on gog already?

Indeed I do. And I would have paid at least 10€ for it.

soulgrindr: Another world official HD version:
http://www.anotherworld.fr/anotherworld_uk/index.htm
PS/ Gog should really contact the author and get him onboard as soon as possible. As a one-man deal it should be something they can put together in a weekend....

I thought of the same thing, and I completely agree. How hard could it be to contact the guy?

Navagon: Would buy: Syndicate, System Shock 2, and a fully fixed up or remade version of Bloodlines.

Ooh, yeah! +1 to 1 and 3.

AndrewC: I guess the only one would be Grim Fandango; I love that game and have been searching for a decently priced boxed copy for a long time now.

Jep, forgot that one. Shame on me.
Edit: So I wrote the guy from anotherworld.fr and the gog staff if they'd be interested. Sure should be feasible, and an absolute delight to see here. Let's see if both parties are interested :)
Edit2: Oh, and another shame on me for forgetting Dungeon Keeper, and, in fact, probably another 100 games or so, so thank y'all for mentioning. Cheers to you folks.

I really liked Darklight Conflict; wish I hadn't lent it to someone who lost it!

The inertial model felt good. Escaping the battlefield with a high-G maneuver when I was getting blasted to hell still sticks in my mind.

I wish I could remember, though: what did the Ovons ever do to them?

Another game I enjoyed, though it got otherwise panned, was 7th Legion. A really light-fare RTS with veterancy and - for whatever reason - card draws for powers and upgrades. Weird.

One set of games I would LOVE to see again (but it's EA, so I know I may never see it again) would be Magic Carpet and Magic Carpet 2. Blew my freaking mind at the time, and who wouldn't want to fly around on magic carpets, explode dragons, throw volcanoes into castles, tag all the balls with your color and wait for your balloon to suck them up and take them back to your castle? Hmmm!?
Games I would instabuy:

Mechwarrior 1-4.

Star Wars. Just about any one dealing with Rogue Squadron, Tie fighters, KoToR, games like Jedi Academy and anything else I can't think of that actually made a cool game.

Anything sci-fi related, really, that's inventive, fun, and tells a good story.
