I see that Fahrenheit isn't on the list yet. I tested it on my Samsung NC10 Plus and it works fine.

The only thing you have to keep in mind when redefining the keys of the numpad is that they are usually to the right of the arrow keys, so during QTEs the numpad set is represented by the right circle. If you just redefine them to use e.g. WASD, the key sets will be inverted in relation to the circles on screen. If you get the feeling that the QTEs don't respond to the keys you press (or only when you're required to press two keys at the same time), check the key configuration and try to switch the sets.

Btw, I thought the mouse movements were actually easier to handle with a touchpad than the mouse, so I think I'm enjoying this more on the netbook, but maybe that's just me.

Syberia
& Syberia 2 should work on a netbook, too. I played the second half of Syberia 2 on mine without issues.

Other GOG games that work fine on my netbook:

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templar (ScummVM)
Dark Fall: The Journey
Little Big Adventure (DosBox)
Might & Magic 3: Isles of Terra (DosBox)

The Temple of Elemental Evil works but calculating turns takes significantly longer than on my desktop PC, especially when there are a lot of participants in a battle.

Dark Fall: Lights Out is playable but the videos don't run smoothly for me, there is a bit of sound stuttering and lag.

Neverwinter Nights (already on the list) is a mixed bag for me; it works on my netbook, too, but isn't quite the same as on the desktop. The risk of the game lagging is a lot higher than on the desktop, you might have to set the graphics options very low and the camera control isn't that smooth and easy with a touchpad. It's playable, but that one's a game I'd prefer to play on a desktop PC, especially with fan-made modules.

Here's my modest contribution to your fine thread. All games have been genuinely tested on a MSI Win32 XP N450 1.66GHz 2GB RAM :

*Arma:Cold War Assault (Run Perfectly)
*Call to Power 2 (Run Perfectly)
*Cannon Fodder (Run Perfectly)
*Capitalism Plus (Run Perfectly)
*Celtic Kings:Rage of War (Will not Run) Has to do with an incorrect resolution
*Conquest of the New World (Run Perfectly)
*Deus Ex (Run Perfectly)
*Duke Nukem 3D (Run Perfectly)
*Hitman 2 (Run Perfectly)
*Kingpin;Life of Crime (Run with Issues) Lag a lot, playable to some extent
*Kights and Merchants (Run Perfectly)
*Might and Magic 6 (Run Perfectly) Can't tell for the rest of the bundle
*Mobile Forces (Run with Issues) Lag, very demanding on CPU
*Praetorians (Run with Issues) Launchable but incompatible res(1024x600)
*Rollercoaster Tycoon Deluxe (Run Perfectly)
*Serious Sam (Run Perfectly) Some lag is expected with AI-clogged map
*Settlers 2 (Run Perfectly)
*Seven Kingdom (Run Perfectly)
*Shogo (Run Perfectly)
*Strategic Command (Run with Issues) Again res problem prevents exe to launch
*Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six (Run Perfectly)
*Unreal Gold (Run Perfectly)
*Unreal Tournament GOTY (Run Perfectly)

Hope this will help fellow netbook gamers !

P.S : Dear GOG, considering the amount of netbook gamer out there, PLEASE STICKY THIS THREAD ONCE AND FOR ALL, thank you.

Also considering the number of netbook gaming threads here on GOG ... ;)

While the resolution of Machinarium will be too high for most netbooks, Botanicula runs perfectly fine on mine. Great game for playing on a netbook. :)

Thread resurrected and updated once again, after a major case of the MIAs.
Thread updated with the following games from my own tests:

Darkstone - runs perfectly
Thief: Gold - runs perfectly
Unreal Tournament 2004 ECE - runs perfectly

And a big thanks to the generous folks who gifted me those three games. You know who you are =)
I played King of Dragon Pass on my Acer Aspire ONE D260 netbook. Worked quite well no issues. Just make sure you don't run Chrome in the background :D.

I also played Resonance on the same netbook and it ran without any major issues.

FTL will run and you can play but it will be unplayable due to various vital information being cut off. The game doesn't scale to the native resolution as it requires a minimum 1280 X 720 from what I recall off-hand.
Snapshot runs fine on a netbook. (Asus Eee 1015PX)
