So I thought I'd make a little noise on GOG regarding everyone's favorite type of game: turn-based role-playing games. Until not so long ago, this genre was declared dead and it looked like us fans would be condemned to eternal replays of Fallout, Arcanum and XCOM, but the emergence of small indie projects, inside and outside of Kickstarter, has changed this. So for anyone here looking to get into something new in this genre, here's some titles:

Out now (semi-recent):
Knights of the Chalice
Conquest of Elysium III (turn-based strategy/roguelike/rpg hybrid)
Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Lands
Avadon: The Black Fortress
Avernum: Escape From the Pit
Eschalon: Book 1 & 2
Winter Voices ( will be out full version of steam in next few weeks)
Devil Whiskey (not new, but recently a new version came to GamersGate, worth checking out)

In Development (2013):
Shadowrun Returns
Wasteland 2
The Banner Saga
Age of Decadence
Dead State
Xenonauts (another hybrid worth mentioning)
Divinity: Original Sin

A quick google with tell you where to get information or buy any of these games (the one's out), but if anyone has a TB game you'd like to added to this list, or questions regarding any of these, post here.

The next Divinity game (Diviinity: Original Sin) is going to be turn based.

I recently got interested in the genre. I played some Fallout and I am really loving it.

Age of Decadence is the one I would really look into, the developer is really serious business and lists his favorite games as Fallout, Planescape and XCOM. It has a public beta/demo out too.

Taken two, I'll let you know if I liked them.

Currently playing Eschalon: book 1 and having a blast. The game can be pretty hard at times, but I guess that's half the fun.
