I still remember it quite well...
It was a traditional point-and-click adventure game, apparently on one of the later versions of the SCUMM engine. It came in a 3 1/2-inch floppy disc with a picture of a mad scientist type character on it (old wrinkly face with a freaky grin, white hair, green goggles and some lightning in the background). As far as the style of the graphics go, the game looked similar to the Fate of the Antlantis. The game was also very humoros in tone. You played as a guy with a blue ballcap, blue jacket, white shirt and red pants. The game starts like this: You are trapped in a sleazy hotel room. The only way out is a big hole in the floor. You make a rope from bed sheets and descend throug the hole, ending up in a some sort of basement. On the left, there are wooden stairs leading to the hotel's reception. On the right is a locked door. In the middle is a shelf with following items: fake rubber tools, fake rubber breasts and wigs. If you go up the stairs to the reception, you meet a guy with a bowler, glasses and twirly moustache. If he sees you, a short conversation is triggered and you end up back in the hotel room in your underwear.
That is all I can remember. To this day I haven't found out what that darn thing was called! I've searched high and low, but I haven't found a single game resembling it. If anyone can recognize the game by this description, please tell. I've been wondering this for 12 years now.
