Thanks. Now I want GOG to start selling classic Hentai games translated and functioning without having to change my OS setting to japanese. Really. Thanks.
Nothing there I really want, but I hope these kinds of bundles keep rolling...
Don't we usually get better deals for less on pretty much every digital distribution service?
Or are they saying that they charge more because it is drm free?

The full $30 pack is 80% off. That's not exactly a bad discount. $30 for 12 games doesn't seem so terrible to me.

I am just thinking of all the bundles D2D and Steam and even Impulse put out there.
Don't get me wrong, it is nice. But I am also wondering if it might not just be a case of marketing.

Well, there may have been better deals. But it's still a pretty good deal if you don't already have quite a few of them.
Just when I don't have the money... Bah! :)

True, I have too many of these to make it work for me, but I figured I would post for others that might have interest.

Because you really think the reason why D2D, Steam or others have ultra-cheap bundles because they are nice guys ?
The sole reason they do it is for marketing too (it's not like they have stock to lower), the big difference between Steam and indy devs is that Steam can afford to sell some of "their" games dirt cheap because they have tons of others they sell full price to make money from... a leisure that indy devs usually don't have.
And, at least, for me, the fact the games are DRM-free definitely increase their value. I have most of the games but I don't mind rebuying them just to show them my support. (I think it's the third or fourth time I buy Machinarium :) )

No, I think they are cheap because it sells better.
My fear is that people are going to start using "DRM-free" as an excuse to jack up the price, compared to other outlets. Most of the other "dirt cheap, drm-free, will make your wang bigger" indie bundles I have seen (and participated in :p) are the pay-what-you-want sales. This one is offering a bundle comparable to what is regularly on sale at the various DD outlets, but is charging a bit more (if I recall correctly).
And Gersen: The "We can sell this cheap because we sell other stuff expensive" doesn't really apply to digital distribution. Those services tend to operate on a percentage system. And it isn't (really) Steam who makes the sales. It is the publishers and (for indie games) the devs. Steam and the like just contact them to organize the massive sales ("Hey, Armagan. Relic are letting us sell Dawn of War 2 for 95% off on this sale. Do you think you are better than Relic? So, can I mark you down for a good 80% off? Awesome").
If anything, the opposite is true. They can sell other stuff at full price because the attract so many customers during the mega-sales.
