After gamesradar declared that the movie Aliens was the biggest influence on games ever , I got thinking about another movie that has had an influence on gaming... John Carpenters "The Thing". I first realized this with the dogs from Resident Evil 4http://www.gog.com/upload/temp/2846486ad5b916cade05c8b3c7c34de984694c2d.jpg (was unable to find a video) Which share a strong resemblance to the dogs in The Thing" . The tentacles whipping around, AND THEIR MOUTHS OPEN THE EXACT SAME WAY!! (though you can't see it in the photo) And then Doom 3 with the Trites:http://www.unlimitedgamer.net/coverage/doom3/doom3_enemies_07.jpg. Remember this gross scene from the thing?:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TevQS4qgE_Q The spiders at the end. I also have heard that Dead Space has little similarities like this. If you see something from a video game that is like something in the thing, Please post it here.
P.S. There is a "The Thing" game.
What the hell?

You know I was commenting on the broken and horrible thread layout, right? And the person clearly doesn't know how forum tags work.
Anyway, yeah, games are just another type of media, and like most media people like to cross influence each other.

Yep, however I was able to figure out what he was trying to say. A chaotic mind and all that...

If you're indifferent to a capitalist-socialism state, would that make you a Chaotic Neutral?
Well chaos is more an opposition to law, chaotic neutral would be more along the lines of an anarchist
