Do you guys think there is any chance that GOG may get the first two thief games?
Yes.
Thief 2 work for me on XP if you still have a older computer, well and the game

Thanks to a dedicated community all 3 games still work on the latest hardware. This recent thread has some tips on how to get those going: (Requires a few downloads and some tinkering, but they not only work, they work with new tech that didn't exist when they were released, like widescreen resolutions)

I play on windows 7 ultimate 64 bit with an SLI system, quad core processor and 1920x1080 resolution. They all work great. Would still love to see some attention given to the installer so I don't have to dig up a full page of text plus addons to get them running every time I format.

Thief series is Eidos and Eidos is Square Enix. Square Enix is one of the four publishers that gog teased could be signed during this year. They were talking with two of those four. Summarizing, we have 50% chances of having Thief games (and Hitman and Deus Ex and Kain and Anachronox, oh god!) by the end of 2011.
there should be.
As I see it, that was the origibal assansis creed,
I got AS 2 with my card but, I would took the thief 3 instead.
