Disappointing for me, people were talking about it like it was so interesting I thought about looking it up, but I never play multiplayer, so I guess I won't bother now.
Yeah, it's so weird with these MP games.
Some people would like a SP element to it. Then, on the other hand, others bitch & throw a tantrum when SP is included.
I guess it's good that it won't be a tacked-on SP & they'll be able to focus on making the MP the best it can be. I'll be picking it up for PC (I hate myself for that b/c I feel like I'm those arrogant a-holes that say "lolpcgamingmasterrace I'll wait for PC release", but X1 isn't engaging me like the PS4 is).
And Titanfall drops right off my radar. For me it's; no SP = no sale.
Well, it is being developed by co-founders of Infinity Ward...Did you not see that coming?
Not a surprise, is it? MP was the only thing they had shown at E3. Also, the information that Titanfall would be MP-only had leaked even before E3.

At least they're focusing in just one thing and being honest about it.

Welp, that just took a nose dive down my wishlist.

A shame, the trailer narration made it sound like there could have been a half-decent storyline.
""We make these single-player missions that take up all the focus of the studio, that take a huge team six months to make, and players run through it in 8 minutes," Zampella said. "And how many people finish the single-player game? It's a small percentage. It's like, everyone plays through the first level, but 5 percent of people finish the game. "

If they bothered to write a good story/plot and didn't make a campaign which got shorter and shorter with each new game (3-4 hours SP in MW 3???) & more like an interactive move, maybe people would actually play the SP part of the game ?.
Yeeeah suddenly I lose interest. Particularly if it is gonna be a full price title.

If it launches at 20 bucks might be interested back, but if is going to be a full price release, I expect it to be playable solo as well.

Yeah. I don't play multiplayer but it's good they're focusing on the game they want to make. Also nice to not hide it behind a so-called "singleplayer" mode so I can go ahead and ignore it.

Different strokes for different folks and all that.
I expect that also means that can't be arsed to implement bots either. So I won't be touching this "game" with a barge pole.
Disappointing but expected.
Not interested in multiplayer games, but I will say that I'm perfectly fine with multiplayer games being purely multiplayer, just like I'm fine (more than fine, actually) with singleplayer games not having tacked on multiplayer.
not surprised at all and just as well. let them focus on what they want, a MP FPS, without trying to shoehorn a SP game into it.

Will not get it myself, though, but would not either if they just dropped a few SP levels into it anyway.
What's Titanfall ?
If it's got decent bots then it might be worth a look. But yeah, that is pretty disappointing.
