A proud The Guild owner here. It's in my featured list, and it is an amazingly overlooked game. Actually, I should probably reinstall it.

I haven't much time to play lately, but the few hours I've played The Guild were good :)
Give it a try! I know I'll reinstall it during my vacations which come in 2 weeks :P

I've been a proud owner of The Guild Gold for a long while now. Sadly I have yet to actually sit down and play more than an hour of it. I just have too many GOGs (59) to play, and such little time. Once I'm done with the entire King's Quest series I'll jump into it.

Edit: Minecraft isn't helping my free time, either.

Can you point me to a decent and up-to-date resource / strategy guild for The Guild: Gold? I found a german site (with an English translation) not too long ago but it was for the original version of the game not the Gold version.

What about its loosely affiliated companies in whom it has a maximum of 25% ownership? The Glorious Struggle Against Financial Strategy Games And Turn Based Strategy In General for example. RSPMAMAODTG may not agree with everything that TGSAFSGATBSIG does but they apparently don't turn away help where they can get it

TheJoe has obviously not been so keen when it comes to helping out those that bought the game. I'm afraid the site I think you've found (europa1400.something) is all there is. The Guild is not some masterpiece that needs to be found, It's just a game. Not bad, but not particularly impressive. In no way worthy of its own thread.
