Yes indeed it seems that not only have we Rome 2 but also a Fantasy Total War game to come :)

This is basicly as close to my dream game as i could hope for any1 i did not hire to make.
(My dream game would basicly be a warhammer fantasy like, but civilization, where you build up from scratch and theres even more focus on city management then there is in civ)

You know, in all honesty, I cannot remember the last time I was so interested in a game.

Never played any warhammer, but if I do I prefer the Fantasy version.

20k warhammer sounds too wacky for me.

*which is the current Warhammer fantasy game made what I think is an older/different/similar form of the King Arthur The Role Playing Wargame engine (at least its a similar style and the camera controls are similarly fiddly).

I think if GW legal wanted them dead they'd be dead already. They've a very active legal team and they've already fantasy franchise RTS games on the market and even turn based ones way back in the ancient days of gaming.

That said the only game I know they've pulled was a Space Hulk game which was not a mod, but a full game being made (small indy developer style).

And it was absolutely free, yet GW and THQ jumped the devs' throat the moment they realised, that the release was popular. A new board edition of SH was released by GW in less that a year.
