sonenhals: Heya,

thanks for posting something about our game! It's nice to see some people are actually interested in TRI. :-)

Hmm, that's unfortunate, but I had a hard time to find a good enough shop system for ourselves - that's why we use the HumbleStore widget now. I guess when the game is finished, we will ask GOG if they'd like to publish it.
Moreover, with the final version of TRI we'd also like to release the final OST on BandCamp or another site, so you can buy it directly without having to pay for the game. ;-)

Regards,
Friedrich

RedRagan: Thank you for the replay. How about putting direct payment with Mastercard/Visa Credit/Debit cards like what Humble Bundle and Indie Royale did? They accept my payment via VCC no problem.
We want to avoid the bundles for a while, and the reason we have the HumbleStore widget now is because I don't want any direct payment thing. :-S It really adds a layer of hassle having to process such stuff for myself. Sorry! With TRI being also on GamersGate and IndieGameStand, every sale platform we add is another platform I have to keep updated and so on ... (that's the reason TRI isn't on the smaller platforms like IndieCity, Indievania or LittleIndie - if they'd have a unified upload and payment process that would be so awesome).

Do the payment options on GamersGate work for you? They added direct credit card processing recently. The game is available here:

I don't have an account for GG. But if they actually provide direct payment then I probably need to create an account soon.
GamersGate and IGS both don't have the soundtrack, though.

So it looks like THE FOX EDITION from either your store or Desura is the best deal to get everything when it debuts. Naturally I'd love to get it from GOG, but they are tight-lipped about what games they are bringing and when.

Will updates be distributed from the Humble Store as well as Desura? And will people who buy from the Humble Store get Desura keys as part of the purchase once the full game goes live? I prefer to keep all my purchases in a few places as possible, so I'd rather not have to keep checking the Humble Store for updates on top of everything else. If the purchases are distinct, I'm more likely to go the Desura route.

The Monk Edition and the Fox Edition both already have Desura keys! :-)
Although I don't know if or how Desura would notify you about the updated soundtrack, as it is just a ZIP file.

Either way, thanks for the interest!

Fab, that works out fine then! Thanks for the clarification. And I am most definitely interested. :)
Will wait to see if it makes it here. Thanks
Just wanted to tell that TRI got greenlit on Steam and we released a beta version today. On www.ratking.de there's a relevant blog post from us.

We will reach out to gog.com soon and ask them if they would put TRI into their store. Wish us luck! ;-)

I gave the beta a quick spin, completed Tower of Nowhere" with 6 out of 11 statues. I must say, the game so far is utterly adorable and it played without any glitches. I will wait with the rest of the game until it is released :)
