We're proud to announce another partner joining GOG.com and reviving its classic titles for gamers around the world!
Thanks to the agreement with Triumph Studios, the Dutch independent video game and technology development company, we're happy to announce one of the studio's most acclaimed games series: Age of Wonders. With today's announcement we're adding the original [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/age_of_wonders]Age of Wonders to the ever-growing GOG.com catalogue for only $5.99, while Age of Wonders II: The Wizard's Throne and Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic will be available soon for $9.99 each.
Welcome to Gog and thanks for re releasing these classic games.
Surely this makes the Overlord games a dead cert now? I don't feel the need to rebuy them personally, but they'd be fine additions to GOG all the same.
This game looks like a lot of fun, and for $6 it's going to be hard to pass up. :D
I think I've just about blown my budget on games for the month -- thanks GOG :P -- but I'll come back to this one next month.
Welcome to GoG :)
Woot :)
I can't wait for the rest!
These games are real classic in turn based strategy.
Thank you very much.
Great news! When I heard Triumph were going to release AoW I hoped GOG be able to get in on the action rather than it being locked up by those buggers at Steam. Definite buy for the trilogy, even at $9.99. Now, when are you going to get Railroad Tycoon (2, at least!)? The only problem I have with GOG is the slow, drip, drip of releases. But if that what it takes for worldwide DRM-less releases, then so be it.
Welcome aboard, Triumph Studios.
I'm glad you re-released the series. I still remember this post of yours: "08/04/2010 - Age of Wonders being digitally Re-Released!"
Great news for those who don't already own the AoW series (as well as those who want a DRM-free backup.)
Welcome Triumph Studios!
These guys sure are fast!
Now it reads: "09/16/2010 - Age of Wonders digitally Re-Released!"
Awesome news. I already own the first AOW game, and love it, but since I have no problems running the retail copy on modern systems I won't repurchase it - but I'm looking forward to getting the sequels.
The soundtrack by Michiel Van Den Bos (who also did some of the music for Unreal, Unreal Tournament and Deus Ex) is one of my all-time favourites too.

I'm happy! Wooo D:
Welcome to GoG Triumph Studios and thanks for the great games :). Hopefully this will be long and profitable partnership for everyone.
I may have to wait till all three games are released as I'm already swamped with games but definately will get them eventually.

Yeah its got one of the best atmospheric music in any game. God I've had those tunes stuck in my head for days...
Neither I have any problem running my copy but it's worth the price GOG want to not having to update it or crack it. Also I'm curious about the extras.
