Hmmm still waiting for Interplay promo....seriously no mega spring/easter sale??

Hmm... Settlers 2 for $10, Chessmaster 9000 for $5, and Driver for free? Not a too bad deal, all in all.

At least, that's how I interpret the price and games offered to me.

It's a shame with packs like this where the discount only applies to buying them all. At 30% I'm not really willing to go out of my way to purchase them unless it was a game I really wanted. At 50%+ there's 1 game I would've got this weekend. I also have 2 of them on GOG and 2 of them outside of GOG so the full pack isn't really value for me as I don't feel the need to buy 2nd copies of every disk game I own through GOG.

Aaand another pretty lame sale.
I know I shouldn't expect so much from GOG, but somehow I always get my hopes up only to have them crushed.. or at least roughly pushed down.
I might be interested in one or two games, but I'm not buying them at 30% off since they were overpriced to begin with.

Your normal prices suck, your promos suck. You really don't want to make any money off these games, do you?

Would anyone think it wierd if I said I was tempted by Driver? Purely in the name of research of course. I'm curious if it's any better than the badly polished turd that was Driver 3.

Hmm I was thinking about Prince of Persia and Far Cry. Would have grabbed them if they were 50% off but just can't bring myself to buy them right now at 30% off. Saving my money for The Witcher and perhaps Witcher 2 (I'm tempted there).

The only game I don't own already is Driver and that is not my cup of tea.

I will pass this time, even when I like to have 1 or 2 games, but not at that price, when I don't want the others.

Oh boy! Another 50/30 sale. Why not just keep it simple and say 30% off. And you guys were doing so good with the straight 50% off sales.

I don't get it. People have been complaining about the "up to" sales in the past and they keep coming with them...

But that's not even the problem. What bugs me is that this "mix" and others in the past are just that, mixes. And when you mix FPS with strategy with action with sims with racing, how many are really going to buy the whole package ? Gamers have specific genre they enjoy above others. Now it doesn't have to be a single genre (I personally prefer RPG and TBS and only rarely I try something else - usually just exceptional titles, like Longest Journey for adventure genre) but how many actually like 6 completely different genres so that they would buy this whole package?

So to put a "50% off" image is a bit misleading. Make a Strategy pack, or RPG pack and it would be more realistic if truly you want to go the "up to" route..
