I have a USA only Visa Gift Card that I'd like to use at GoG. Is it possible at all? Like, through Pay Pal? Or am I screwed? Appreciated.

Edit: My goal is to be able to buy the Quest Series games on sale right now. The ones that will no longer be on sale very soon.

Edit 2: I wonder if anyone would consider a trade? If someone could gift me the $34.95 in GoG games that I need: King's Quest 1+2+3, Police Quest 1+2+3+4, Police Quest: Swat 1+2, Space Quest 1+2+3, Space Quest 4+5+6, I could buy and gift someone something on Steam for near the same price? I'm willing to trust... :)

I don't know which one you're using, but if you're using anything but the Green Dot cards (which are horrid pieces of trash to use online), you should be good.

Coming from someone who has used those in the past, they do work, you just have to be careful which ones you use.

It's a Vanilla Visa card and I've used them before on GoG. Just ones that happened to not have the "Valid only in the United States" logo. The one I'm trying to use and failing at does have that. It is being declined. Unfortunately, I have no other options.

Huh, why would they say that? Vanilla Visas have ALWAYS worked before at such things. Have you tried PayPal?

I haven't. I'm not sure I want to go through the process of making a PayPal account if it's not going to work anyway. I'll wait for a confirmation from someone who's done it. Unfortunately, the card does have the note just under "A Gift For You". It says "Valid Only in the United States."

Usually they've worked on PayPal before. I don't remember if I've used the "valid only in the United States" one, but I'd actually suggest that you make a PayPal account anyway, that way you have another option even if the Vanilla Visa card you have doesn't work.

I only use the pre-paid VISA + PayPal method. It works great. Once the card is empty, it still works, assuming your bank account is attached to the Paypal account also.
