This thread is for reviews and gameplay videos of games not on GOG that I find useful. This is meant to be a helpful addition to push wishlists for both known and unknown games. These will include classic and new games as well as indie titles. Later, I will compile a similar list of game reviews and videos that can be bought on GOG.

I will be making additional postings on this thread periodically with the hope that this helps bring more titles to the service. I will also list games that probably have no real chance of making it here, but it doesn't hurt for more people to be aware of these games in general.

(This in no shape or form reflects my personal preference in the games that I like and play. Also, some reviews and gameplay videos might contain spoilers, so tread lightly)

This is a great idea. It will help to know best certain games.

Niggles: Nice list. Only problem is - if people love a game on that current list which isn't on GOG, it will drive customers to buy it from elsewhere (if they aren't happy to just wishlist it here and wait). Im all for finding nice games for people, helping out devs, but im not keen on helping out other stores if you know what i mean
A good portion of these games are not available on any service as far as I can tell... I do plan on doing one for games on GOG, but I want to make sure I have a good amount of decent reviews before I post it. Some of these might never see the light of day here or elsewhere, but it is worth trying to boost interest so we get more classic releases.
Fair enuf i withdraw my comment :D...
Ummm... Open www.google.com. Write 'videogame review'. Chances are whatever link you click, it's a game not on GOG. There you have your list :-P Seriously, if you maintain it, this thing is going to get really useless, really fast. If you want to be helpful, go and post those into comments of wishlist entries.

That's funny, I do not see how you have any authority on these forums to tell people what to do.

Thanks for the counterproductive post! You are such a great pinnacle of this community!

Never claimed I do. Just trying to suggest a more productive way to spend your energy as it's probably going to be wasted on this particular topic. There's too many games to list in a single forum post, and it would be nightmare to navigate properly. What is sorely needed is more information on individual wishlist entries and you seemed eager to contribute.

To me the Wishlist is nice, but it is a sinkhole for things to go to die. A thread can be looked over, while the Wishlist is hard to navigate or care about other than to push certain releases. I can narrow the games down to the cream of the crop for both known and unknown, but that would more or less defeat the purpose. I think that the current state of the Wishlist is a problem (which comes to mind, why the hell is it still listed as a beta?).

Just because you would find this thread worthless doesn't mean that others feel the same. If it pushes unknown titles to be voted on and potentially get released here that is great! Worthwhile written reviews and videos will help get some of these titles the boost that they need to get further noticed.

Thanks for your reply. You initial reply sounded brash and was rather off-putting for me, unlike this.
