Roman5: how come?
Most countries celebrate Victory day on the 8th, when Germany surrendered to Allies. According to wiki page you linked only these celebrate it today: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Republika Srpska, Serbia, Georgia, Germany, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.

Because as there is no "i" in team, there wasn't a single winner of that war - 'Allies won'. =)

Thanks! But i'm sure you didn't mean it was just Russian war. You probably meant Ex-USSR - and that wasn't even close. They don't call it 'World' for nothing. :)
