Ancient 1c game that not even 1c stocks on their site - it can only be found on Greenman.

Anyone know much about this game?
Do you mean The Fifth Disciple from Napoleon Games? http://www.mobygames.com/game/fifth-disciple

Yes I know it. I played it a couple of years ago, was looking for a Quest for Glory fix, and it was suggested on a forum. Well, a Quest for Glory fix it was definitely not. But I liked it (as in it was not too bad, though it was not too good either). It has a mixed of adventure and light RPG. The combat is turn-based. A bit cheap on the inventory stocking (I was hoping to stock more items) but it was still alright.

I can't really remember the story so I guess it did not make a lasting impression. It was not a long game either. I finished it in one day (playing all day, though).

Thanks for the info.

I was wondering if this was a hidden gem or not. Guess I'll pass on it until Greenman has a sale on it.
It is a sequel to this one - http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/gates_of_skeldal_brany_skeldalu

And there is no way to see it like QFG-clone . It is just p&c adventure game with turnbase (Etherlords (?) like) fights.
Yes, I actually found out about Gates of Skeldal after finishing The Fifth Disciple.

Off-topic: as far as Quest for Glory fix goes, I am excited with Himalaya Studios' Mage's Initiation: Reign of the Elements (http://www.himalayastudios.com/games/mages) even if it will not be available until end of next year.
