I realized something strange (and kinda funny) when I played Superfrog again after many years (15+).
When I depict some situations in my head (short movies XD), I almost always put some kind of background music; some of these situations and tunes are recurrent, but I often don't know exactly why I assemble them so, nor where I heard that particular melody.
I was astonished to realize that two of those tunes in my head, which I figure almost daily, come from Superfrog, namely the one from the level map and a portion of the first world theme. I would never have recalled esplicitly the game music alone, it has passed too long, and there's no link between any part of the game and the situations I associate those melodies to.
Weird XD.
Has something like this happened to anyone else, too, realizing that videogames have deeply affected implicit memory?
