The original Carnivores is one of the few PC games I played and still remember fondly. In this series you use the in-game currency to unlock weapons, maps, and prey. While you start with the most basic of weapons and the most docile of opponents, the game builds up with time to allow a diverse hunting experience. The game leads up to ultimate hunt, a one one one against a Tyrannosaurus Rex. I dare you to hunt two of them on a single map using the crossbow! And you don't have to only hunt one species at a time. You can hunt several predators at once if you are so bold, and you've raked in enough points.
