Foxhack: Where the heck is the key on the Steam version?

Edit: Wait. I have to print out the email receipt, sign it, scan it, and then send it to them? Augh. :\

Ubivis: select the game in your library -> on the right there is a link to "CD-Key" -> Click it -> Copy the Key
The CD-Key to my version of The Witcher EE on Steam does not work when I try to redeem it on GOG. I did send them my email and Steam profile name though, so I'll see what happens.

It took two days but I got my Witcher on GOG. ^_^
Great initiative, thanks to CDP, GoG and to CDP support: your work has been very good and fast.
So... can we trade or give away our TW1 code if we've re-purchased the game on GOG already or is it considered bad form?

I view giving away or using them as trading leverage as an abuse of GOG's trust.

On a related note, in case anyone's key didn't work: my TW1 serial key didn't work when I tried to redeem my backup copy, so I used the online form and submitted my email + SteamID. The support staff got back to me within 24 hours with a new code, and I was able to redeem it without an issue.

When asked this with The Witcher 2 codes, TET answered that assuming you already have it on GOG.com, feel free to give your code away. I can try to find the relative post if you want, though it will take time.

Edit: not that much time it seems, here's the post

My Amazon digital download Enhanced Edition key also was invalid. I'll follow the page instructions to redeem the backup, I suppose.
This programs is essentially an agreement to "price match" any copy of The Witcher sold anywhere. I think it's awesome, but it's bigger in scope than I'd initially thought (unless I'm misunderstanding it). Anyway, good on you all, GOG!
Anyone with a spare key of TW2? :p

Anyways, can confirm that keys for the GamersGate version of TW work correctly.
