JMich: I'd consider the seasons being turns, and you do have quite a few items that say "Lasts 3 turns". During the turn, you do have quite a few real time moments, but I still consider it turn based.
avatar
WBGhiro: Since we're nitpicking i'd also like to add that most of the game plays during the renaissance and not medieval times, but fine you're off the hook gog.

This time.
Well thanks, that's might generous of you. :-)

I remember the game being pretty much turn-based, even though the combat itself was real time. The original title was "Europe 1400: The Guild". I call that medieval.

SCPM: No "This Week on Gee-Oh-Gee" video?
One video, coming right up! :-)

In the mean time, I'll be on the front steps of the GOG.com office, shouting the script so you can all hear it.

Shhh, now....listen carefully. ;)

WBGhiro: But that's realtime, isn't it?

Just thought I would make the reference more clear.

Tpiom: The one game I want isn't officially Win7 compatible. It's really iffy when they are reaching for Win8 compatibility faster than Win7... especially when most people are still using Win8.
Which game would that be? Dark Fall 2 or Panzer Elite?

If it's Dark Fall 2, I can confirm that it is compatible with Win7. The gamecard should be updated shortly. Pancer Elite looks good so far, but we're still tasting it to ensure support.

It tastes delicious so far. Could use some salt though.

Sorry...

Damn. I've spilled the beans on one of our most covert company secrets. Yes, I confirm that we test game compatibility by feeding them to Turnip Slayer. Then we examine him closely for any signs of weird rashes. If there's none--we check the box for Win 7 compatibility on the gamecard.

Of course it gets complicated to tell when there are rashes which originate from other sources. This is why there are sometimes problems with compatability.
