It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Stuff: You're welcome .. .=)

Your icons and files may still be missing since mb doesn't address that problem AFAIK. If icons and files are still missing and the infection is gone you might try using the unhide.exe to fix that problem in one easy step. Download from the link above and run. I have used it several times with excellent results . . . = )

Edit: if your OS is Vista / Win 7 be sure to run it as an admin by right clicking the unhide.exe and clicking "Run as an administrator" on the resulting dialog.
hey thanks running unhide

Kabuto: Just don't run immunization if using IE. In addition to the immunization providing next to no real protection anyway, IE cannot handle such a vast exemption list which slows IE down.
Not to disagree but I have used Spybot S&D for several years updating and immunizing every Wednesday like clockwork. I use both IE and Firefox and have noticed no slow down in either.
it looks like I got everything back to normal if It come back i will revive this post. thank you all very much for all your help it means a lot.

You are probably doing so as I type but a final suggestion it to update your anti-virus program to the latest definitions and run a full system scan . . . =)

You've never noticed how IE takes longer to load the first page when you open the browser? I did. So did countless others. There's plenty of threads about it on the internet. Maybe Microsoft have gotten around to fixing the issue I don't know. I stopped using immunize years ago when I switched back to IE when version 8 came out.

Do you also disagree that immunize does next to nothing in reality?

Kabuto: ..
I have not noticed anything unusual but . . . I have been using it for many years so. I am not disagreeing with your analysis of the program merely saying I use it on my systems, my friends systems and all the systems I remove badware from. No one has ever mentioned the problems you described. They exist I'm sure, I just have not experienced them firsthand myself.

I can't say that immunization does nothing since I have not had a virus or malware on my personal systems in over ten years. I remove badware often and install Spybot S&D and SpywareBlaster on those systems as well. Only one has gotten badware again. In that case it presented itself as a windows update and the user clicked install.

I do have the Spybot S&D resident running as well. I believe the immunization is a passive protection much like SpywareBlaster which I have also used since it was introduced.
Haven't had a virus in years even after downloading virus infected rars. and then running them knowing that they have virus.
always use just freeware antivirus program (avast at this moment)

and i visit sites which make /b/ on 4chan look like an educational tool for kindergarten.

So you guys with your immunization and your super programs just weird me out.

I also never use IE which is i guess the most sensible thing to do on this planet.

I don't get the super programs either. I simply use Microsoft Security Essentials and ocassional manual scans using spybot and malware bytes which comes up clean 95% of the time and even then it's a simple tracking cookie. Immunize is off, tea timer is never installed.

People want their computers to be fast and virus free but how do you achieve that if you have tons of active scanning programs running concurrently?
