Not if you are looking for something that will work just as they tell you. There are in-general guides out there: (IPSec is a standard where as OpenSwan is an implementation of the standard).

For example http://www.jacco2.dds.nl/networking/openswan-l2tp.html This is a guide to setting up OpenSwan (or StrongSwan) as a encrypted tunnel with variaing operating systems. In addtition it talks about the idea of implimenting it.

http://linux.die.net/man/5/ipsec.conf <- This describes the main config file and what can be in it.

This is about as good as you can get when it comes to guides. There are no linux distrbution specfic guides out there. (at least none that are up to date, but if you try this route look at the ones that mention the iPhone or Android devices as they should be more recent.)

In reality it's very easy to setup (If you know what you are doing). The real problem comes with figuring out what to do in the first place.

One other thing: If you do go this route, remember that the "ipsec barf" command is your friend. It outputs all of the current configuration and any logs that describe connection attempts. If you wind up with a connection error chances are "ipsec barf" and a google search will tell you why.

Edit: Forgot to mention that there is no GUI setup utility for Openswan. (Or IPSec in general.) Outside of third party OS specific solutions. You have to set it up on the command line. I should have mentioned that in the eariler post. Sorry about that.
